I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from University of Maryland, where I developed a strong foundation in math and problem-solving. During college, I founded and directed Girls Who Code which I grew from 13 to 90 girls over just two semesters. Five girls chose computer science as their college major because of how much they enjoyed the community, culture, clarity, topics, and mentorship in the program that I designed and ran. My academic background, paired with four years of experience working in the tech industry at Microsoft, has given me both the technical knowledge and communication skills to break down abstract concepts and adapt to different learning styles.

Outside of my professional roles, I’ve spent several years tutoring middle and high school students in algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus. I specialize in working one-on-one, tailoring each session to the student’s pace and confidence level. I use a mix of visual aids, real-world examples, and step-by-step breakdowns to ensure each student not only understands the material but feels empowered by it.
