I specialize in High School Economics, AP Macroeconomics, AP Microeconomics, and introductory college economics. I help students understand economics clearly so they can raise grades, improve exam scores, and feel confident working with graphs, models, and policy questions.
I typically begin with a short diagnostic session to identify where confusion is occurring and what will help most right away.

I typically begin with a short diagnostic session to identify where confusion is occurring and what will help most right away.
Background
I have taught graduate-level economics and politics at Georgetown University and worked as an economist at the Federal Reserve, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the World Bank, and USAID. I also held a research fellowship at Stanford University. This experience allows me to explain economic concepts clearly and connect theory to real-world policy.
Teaching Approach
Economics makes sense when concepts build on intuition rather than memorization. I help students understand ideas first, organize them clearly, and apply them confidently on exams.
Sessions are structured and efficient. We identify gaps quickly, work through targeted examples using graphs and exam-style questions, and finish with a clear plan. Students often come to me overwhelmed by shifting curves and abstract models and leave knowing what drives each graph and how to approach exam questions confidently.
What I Help With
•AP Macroeconomics and AP Microeconomics
•Introductory college economics (Principles of Micro and Macroeconomics)
•Supply and demand, elasticity, and market structures
•Cost curves and firm behavior
•Aggregate supply and aggregate demand
•Fiscal and monetary policy
•The Phillips Curve and inflation–unemployment tradeoffs
I also work with students in government and public policy where these subjects overlap with economic reasoning and real-world applications.
Getting Started
I offer both short-term exam preparation and ongoing support and look forward to helping students build confidence in economics.
