Environmental & Elementary Educator with 9+ Years Experience!

Looking for learning support for your elementary school student this fall? I would love to work with your student to help them: understand assigned work, practice mastering skills, or extend their assigned learning. Currently I am an Environmental Educator and have 7+ years public school teaching experience, a MD Teaching License, Advanced Teaching Certification, and Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Whatever the need of your student, I am experienced in differentiating lessons to adapt to their learning style and look forward to getting to know them and how they learn best. Teaching has always been my passion, and I look forward to getting to share my love of learning in a new a different way. I hope to help support our community during this new and different school year, stay safe and well!

Math is an important skill that we all use daily a lot more than we think! I taught the Elementary and Common Core for 7+ years and have experience teaching all types of learners.

Science is truly my passion and I currently teach at an environmental education non-profit and love every second of it. I also taught elementary science for all my 7 years of teaching in public schools and wrote science curriculum for my county for the last 4 years I taught in public schools.

I love reading and find it can connect me to topics, ideas, and places I have never known before! I taught reading and writing all 7 years I taught in public schools and it was one of my favorite parts of the day. I have experience working with all levels of reading abilities and would love to help you with your studies!
