Greetings Families,
My name is Dr. Farmer and I am excited to work with you! I am a licensed Educator (Elementary Education), School Counselor (K-12), and I am licensed to Teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). I have taught and counseled youth (Pre-K-12) and adults for 15 years in both public and private school settings. Let me tell you a little about myself!

I earned my Master of Arts degree in School Counseling from Trinity University in Washington D.C. While at Trinity, I adopted the creative art therapies approach (i.e the use of music, art, writing, books, etc.), learning fun and effective ways to engage students in counseling, mental health, and social-emotional learning.
I continued my studies and earned my Doctorate in Religious Education from Chesapeake Bible College and Seminary in Ridgely, MD (new location: Greensboro, MD). From Master to Doctorate, I created a program for young girls, held counseling leadership positions, and did a bit of traveling (state-side and internationally).
Through the years, I continue enjoying seeing students succeed, grow and make their way into college or the career of t
