Hi! My name is Brandon. I look forward to tutoring in Data Science, R programming, and Statistics!

I have 8+ years tutoring experience and have done both online and in-person tutoring. I have worked with students of many different levels. I have mostly worked with students one on one; however, in some instances I have tutored small groups online using blackboard collaborate. Through this experience, I realize we all learn differently! This is why I constantly adapt my style to individually meet student's needs. I have a lot of patience, so there is never a reason to feel frustrated in our sessions. Students are always treated with the highest level of respect. I strive to make every tutoring experience a pleasant one. I typically introduce the material in a simplistic way, follow up with examples, and then allow students opportunities to practice with my guidance. Questions are always welcome and encouraged!

Excellent and Knowledgeable Tutor

Brandon helped me with Shiny apps in R. He showed me how to set up the app, and how to allow a user to provide an input and have the outputs update based on the user inputs. He explained how to use the different render functions for plots, tables, and maps. He showed me how to transform the data in order to create line plots and how to color the lines based on the user inputs. Brandon is very knowledgeable and patient. I highly recommend him! I will be reaching out to him again when I need help with R.
