I’m Terrice, a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. During my time as a 3rd- and 4th-semester nursing student, I tutored classmates and supported their success in anatomy, physiology, and foundational nursing concepts. I have also trained new nurses on my unit, helping them build confidence and competence during those early transitions.
As a nurse of 6 years, I work with anatomy and physiology every day in real clinical settings. That real-world experience allows me to teach in a way that connects the science to how the body actually works — in my experience, this is what finally makes the material “click.”
I enjoy both learning and teaching, and I believe that a strong foundation in caring for others starts with a willing heart. Once you learn the basics and are willing to build on that foundation with dedication and patience, you can go far.
That’s where I come in. I value a holistic approach to learning — one that builds both understanding and confidence. Nursing is fast-paced, but I aim to provide an environment where students can slow down, truly grasp challenging concepts, and gain the confidence needed to pursue their goals.
I’m a visual and kinesthetic learner myself, so I encourage the use of mind maps, diagrams, and other creative methods. Along with helping you understand the sciences, I also support skills like time management, study strategies, and prioritization. In our first session, I like to understand where the student is struggling and create a clear plan so they feel more confident moving forward.
