I am a medical student and Master of Public Health candidate with over ten years of tutoring and teaching experience. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and am currently completing my Doctor of Medicine degree while also pursuing an MPH at George Washington University. My academic background allows me to confidently tutor students in biology, anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, MCAT preparation, and medical and nursing coursework.
I have worked with students at many levels including high school, college, pre medical, nursing, PA, and medical students. I currently serve as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at George Washington University where I lead laboratory sessions, help students understand complex scientific concepts, and provide one on one academic support. My tutoring style focuses on simplifying difficult topics, building strong foundations, and helping students gain confidence in their learning.
In addition to academics, I bring discipline, structure, and motivation from my experience as a U.S. Army veteran and endurance athlete. I believe every student learns differently, and I tailor my approach to meet each student's needs. My goal is not only to help students improve grades, but also to develop long term understanding and academic confidence.
