Greetings. I have been in the education field for 19 years with experience in ages ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old in various settings. I have been a Lead Teacher in Daycare centers, A paraprofessional in a special education pre-k/K classroom and an owner of a private home daycare center. I have an associate's degree in arts and shaping young minds has been my passion since childhood. I believe everyone has the ability to reach their full potential and can bring amazing qualities to any situation with patience and support. I have been certified in the creative curriculum for preschool and also the second step behavioral program for school aged students.
I have also had the pleasure of working with students with special needs for 5 yrs. I am very active in my community schools where I volunteer with tutoring and afterschool programs that assist students with increasing their skills in individual subjects. I take each student with the understanding that I have to find the best approach to achieve the best results. I hope to create a safe space for students to be able to receive the support in the areas that I can share my gift.
