Awesome teacher!
My son (9 years) has recently taken an interest in chess and he thoroughly enjoyed his lesson with Nathaniel. Nathaniel was able to meet him at his level but still challenge him and present strategies in an engaging form. He taught by playing through a game and also reviewed some of my son's games on chess.com. My son is a bit shy, especially with new teachers. When I'd peak in on his lesson I saw him smiling and chatting back and forth with Nathaniel. I couldn't have asked for better first lesson. We'll be back for more!

He takes time to explain the strategies. He is very responsive with questions I have and responds quickly. He comes up with great lesson plans and tries to keep the student engage.

Nathaniel has done and excellent job of helping my son improve his game, and help him in his efforts to play in his first tournament. He has been responsive to our requests for sessions, and quick to follow up and let me know of what was covered in them. Definitely would recommend him to others.

Nathaniel was extremely patient with our 6 year old daughter. We can tell he has a lot of experience teaching chess and sharing his love of chess with his students. We will definitely be continuing as our daughter seem to really enjoy her first lesson.
