Although, I enjoy being a classroom teacher, there is nothing better than making personal connections with students through tutoring. I also enjoy making Math fun and relate-able.
My approach to tutoring math is simple. When teaching a math skill, I ensure the student understands the concept, the procedure, and problem solving. These 3 categories support each other like the lines that make up a triangle, and they cannot be taught in isolation.
