Hi, I'm Dave. I have a General Studies AA degree with an emphasis in mathematics. I'm fortunate to be one of those who worked with numbers came easy to them early on in life. This also led to my career field as a signals analyst in the military and post-military.
In addition to inherent math skills, I have also always had a passion/joy for helping others. I have been involved with volunteer mentoring "Big Brother" type programs and tutored multiple people (ranging from elementary to college-level) over the years. Algebra is my best area of knowledge but have also tutored in Trigonometry and Geometry. I have tutored in group (in a school) setting, as well as in-home one-on-one sessions. I understand not everyone grasps material in the same manner, so I try to have alternate methods to teach material.
Although this is for compensation, the real joy comes when a student's eyes light up because they finally grasp a concept. I look forward to working with you.
