Hi! I'm Evan, a cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland with bachelor's degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Secondary Education. I specialize in tutoring mathematics, computer science, and SAT Math, helping students build both confidence and a deep understanding of the material.

In addition to my academic background, I've completed my student teaching at Magruder High School, where I gained extensive classroom experience working with students of varying skill levels. I've also earned my Maryland teaching credentials by passing the PRAXIS, completing the edTPA, and successfully finishing the ISTE Educator Portfolio.

I enjoy breaking down difficult concepts into manageable steps and helping students develop the problem-solving skills they need to succeed independently.

Academically, I've maintained a strong record throughout my education. I earned top grades in mathematics courses ranging from Prealgebra through advanced university-level mathematics, including Number Theory and Cryptography. I also scored a 1550 on my first SAT attempt (790 Math), achieved 5s on AP Calculus BC (including the AB subscore), AP Statistics, AP Physics C: Mechanics, and AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism, and have extensive experience teaching both high school and college-level mathematics and computer science.

I'm available to tutor students of all levels, from middle school through college, in mathematics, computer science, and SAT preparation. My goal is not just to improve grades and test scores, but to help students become confident, independent learners who genuinely understand the material.
