This is my first time taking a finance course so naturally, I had many questions. Lynda has been helping to unlock our daughter's potential as a student at the community college level for several months. We cannot overstate the positive difference she has made. Lynda prepares for each lesson and is extremely effective in helping our daughter to understand concepts and frameworks. As important, she has been a magnificent coach, helping to encourage and motivate our daughter and boost her confidence. Lynda tailors her approach each lesson, reinforcing and supplementing class material as needed. She has introduced invaluable strategies for planning, organizing, and preparing for assignments to keep the workload manageable. She has also been a valuable sounding board for our daughter in discussions about assigned readings, serving as a catalyst for creative thinking and effective writing. Lynda has consistently demonstrated a commitment to help our daughter learn and succeed. She really cares. When we first contacted her last Fall with an urgent need for help for an impending assignment, she rearranged her schedule to meet with our daughter the next day and helped to overcome both a mental roadblock and a lack of confidence that were preventing completion. Since then, she has been flexible with her schedule as needed, occasionally spending several unplanned hours at a time to ensure concepts are understood, and that a viable plan for completing assignments is designed and implemented.

She is a big fan of working things out slowly with pencil and paper so you understand how problems should be set up, which is a great technique.
