Vince was the best. I would not have received an A without him. He was very patient and he kept me informed regarding upcoming sessions. Would totally recommend him and I can't thank him enough for his help.
He realized very fast what I needed to know and took me step by step and even taught me some things related that I didn't know about and didn't think to ask for them, to better help my work ahead.
Vince B has helped me understand a variety of statistic equations. Today he helped conquer my fear of both charts and tree diagrams.
It was a very good start. I knew nothing about Excel and now I have at least a basic knowledge of how it works. More needs to be done. Vince and I will be getting back together to move forward soon.
Vince came to my office on a Saturday, which I very much appreciated. He was quite helpful, friendly, clear, and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend him as a tutor.
Vince helped me learn and discover excel, he didn't just teach me exactly what table I had to create, he began by showing me basics and proceeded from there. He was patient with all of my questions and was not only showing me but also having me complete the tasks in order to learn it clearly!
Vince is very knowledgeable and givesee great real life examples and everyday usage of the systems. He also accommodates my schedule on order to keep me on track with the course.
Vince knows his stuff and makes learning fun. Excel has gone from something I dreaded to a hobby. He's terrific.
Vince is very knowledgeable and patient, he helped me understand the fundamental as well as advance excel systems that is used in Health statistics. Vince walked me through the Excel process step by step and the different functions/formula that is used to identify results.
We had a great start. I learned that a lot has changed since I last used excel. Vince was able to tap into what I already know and what I need to learn going forward.
Vince is very knowledgeable. He is very patient and has a lot to offer me as I continue to grow in my new position.
Vince was wonderful and understood what I needed done with my project, while others became confused. I really appreciate how simplistic he made it for me. Thanks WyzAnt for partnering with tutors of Vincent's caliber.
A Very Satisfied Customer!
Had a tight work deadline with the bosses threatening to take ownership of a paper I was writing. Vince gave me the chance to hold them off and put them back in their chairs where they belong.
Vince listened to what I wanted to accomplish and then walked me through he process of setting up and learning how to travel through my new Windows 10 computer, all the time making sure that I knew the steps and was comfortable with the processes. Excellent teacher.
Vince was an excellent Excel teacher. In a few sessions over the summer he covered all of the skills I will need to be ahead of the game in college. He was clear and knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to work with him. I recommend him highly.

Vince has been tutoring me in statistics. He is incredibly patient, very good at explaining concepts, great at giving examples to help you understand the material, and very knowledgeable. He is been able to explain things to me that my teacher was unable to explain. He has also made very abstract concepts seemed very simple and easy to understand. Absolutely loving my tutoring with Vince.
He is teaching me to use Word and I am a total beginner. Makes it easy. Understands that I need to go slow.
Introduction to XL. Understands 'how' I learn. He was able during the initial meeting to assess my abilities. He then put everything into context. Then he started on the basics. It was a great first session.
Vince is an excellent tutor. I really lucked out when I found him on WyzAnt. Thanks to him I was able to score an “A” in a class that I possibly would have failed otherwise. I plan to seek his help in my other future classes as well.
What makes Vince so great is that he is able to explain complex, technical concepts in ways that even a person who has never dealt with the concepts can easily understand. He uses simple, every day analogies. When I first sought his help, I was extremely nervous about how I was going to get through my VBA course, but the second I started learning from Vince I knew that with his help I would be just fine. I was no longer intimidated by the subject as I knew that Vince was there to break it down for me. I walked away learning so much more than I ever hoped to learn.
Vince is also extremely professional, polite, patient and accommodating. Even when his schedule was tight, he would accommodate my last minute requests for help.
Vince is so helpful! I've had many tutors in the past and have yet to come across a tutor like Vince. I had a project that I needed help with and not only did Vince help me with the project but he even assisted me with great ideas. I'm so grateful for WyzAnt for introducing me to Vince.
Thanks again Vince!
If you need any help with anything, choose Vince, you will not regret it.
I needed help with a graduate level assignment and I am so happy I found Vince to help me understand it better. He is a great tutor and I would definitely get his help again if I ever need it.
During my search for a Statistics tutor, I found Vince's profile and liked what I read so I sent an e-mail and from there it was an easy process to set up lessons. He was a perfect match for me as his knowledge of Statistics was exactly what I needed. Vince exceeded my expectations of a tutor as this was my first time reaching out to one. He was so patient and was able to explain the basic fundamentals in a way that was easy for me to relate to. Vince asked questions that made me realize I had a better understanding of Statistics that I thought. He also showed me that I use it in my daily life and didn't even realize it. I would not only use Vince again, I've been telling everyone about my lessons with Vince. I wish my school professors were as patient and detailed in their explanations when teaching statistics. In my opinion, Vince was just what I needed to complete my assignments knowing I actually understood what I was doing by the time I submitted them to my professor.
Vince is an excellent tutor. He helped with office. Helped to work more efficient with my MAC. And help me to start a business blog, structure, how to do it, basically showed me how to work with it. Excellent Human being. For sure I recommend Vince for anyone to need to learn how to work with computers.
Vince is a pleasure to work with and is very patient. He understands the concepts and ensures his customers do too! Vince was always available and responded quickly to my requests at the last minute!
Vince is a very good tutor. He put me at a ease with the subject matter at hand. I was very comfortable learning Excel from him. He is very knowledgeable in the subject matter and that's wonderful. I look forward to our next session.
He was very very helpful to me in teaching me mail merge and other finer points of Excel. Rather than just telling me about it, he had me on the keyboard of computer doing several documents to gain experience. On time, friendly and professional. He answered all my questions. Easy to reach via email and responded quickly in setting up the appointment. I plan to set up some future appointments with questions about Excel and Word.
I asked Vince to give me a two-hour tutoring session on advanced PowerPoint. I was delighted--and not just a little relieved--to learn that Vince is the real deal. He knows PPT forward, backward, and sideways, everything from layout basics to timed fly-in of bullets and photos to inserting video clips and more. But what really separates Vince from other tutors is that he has a deep understanding of how to make learning fun. He has a great sense of humor and is a "teacher" in the best sense of the word. I intend to hire Vince again for a brush-up on MS Excel, and am happy to give him my most enthusiastic recommendation. "Two thumbs up!"
Vince made me feel at ease from the very first moment; taking time to review and then go over individual questions. I have found him to be very responsive with communication, and easy to talk to. He sets examples up in an easy to understand manner, and uses graphics to explain his points.
I would have been lost without him!!!
Vince, although this was a challenging class for me, I really appreciate your dedication and time. Thank you for all of your insight during this semester. I am pretty sure that I would not have passed this class without your help. You helped me to understand not only how to better utilize Excel, but also helped me to understand how I will use statistics in my career. With all of that, I walked away with more confidence even though it was exhausting. Thanks again for all of your hard work and help.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Although this topic can be broad, I have an extensive background with computers, operating systems and internet browsers. My current strength and focus is Windows 8 and 8.1, and helping people to make the leap up from Windows XP and Windows 7. Windows 8 is very powerful and can be a surprisingly helpful time saver when you get to know all of the new and wildly different functionality.

Microsoft Outlook is an extremely powerful program, but it seems that most people only use it for email and a calendar. There are so many powerful features in Outlook that go overlooked, such as setting Rules, Flagging items for Follow-up, the Automatic Replies feature, Automatic Archiving and custom archiving of all Outlook items, and the powerful search tools ... just to name a few! I am a certified Master of Microsoft Office.
PowerPoint is the one Microsoft application that never feels like work to me. It's a lot of fun, and can really help unlock your creativity! My basic goal with teaching PowerPoint is to make sure that your presentations have a "Wow!" factor, but to always keep the fundamentals of presenting information in mind. I also love how PowerPoint is made to either help you create a worthwhile presentation in minutes OR allow you to take full control and make a one-of-a-kind presentation of your very own.
