That work means I spend every day evaluating talent, coaching professionals through career decisions, and helping people articulate their goals, experience that translates directly into guiding students.
My tutoring background is personal and hands-on. Over the years I have worked one on one with about ten family members, including cousins, most of them college students across a variety of undergraduate business courses, along with a few high school students and two middle schoolers. Because every session was individual, I could adapt to how each person learned best, sometimes walking through concepts step by step, sometimes starting with the big picture and filling in the details. My approach has always been practical: connecting classroom material to how business actually operates, drawing on real situations from my career so the concepts stick. I am also an experienced reviewer and editor of student work, and one of my favorite things to do is helping writers polish portfolios and guiding thesis projects through to completion.
