I’m Aseem, a recent Honours BSc graduate in Physics with minors in Sociology and Cinema Studies. Throughout my studies, I’ve always taken opportunities to help peers succeed and build their academic confidence. I believe that with the right support, everyone can excel, no matter how rigorous the material. I previously tutored middle schoolers, where I learned the value of patience and meeting students exactly where they are. Combined with my interdisciplinary background, these experiences taught me that good teaching should be practiced with humility, without judgment, and with an emphasis on helping students genuinely enjoy what they’re learning.
I specialize in helping high school students with calculus, trigonometry, and physics. My teaching philosophy is built around guided questioning. I don’t simply give answers, but instead help students construct solutions step by step through conceptual reasoning and structured thinking. This approach builds confidence, improves retention, and teaches students how to think, not just what to memorize. Through my physics degree, I’ve developed effective study habits and a strong understanding of how math and physics concepts apply in real problem-solving contexts, and I enjoy sharing those strategies.
In addition to math and science tutoring, I have experience with academic writing, including technical reports and humanities essays, as well as extensive programming experience, which helps me explain logical processes clearly. I also offer a free consultation so we can discuss your goals, your learning style, and how I can best support your success.
