I hold a BA in Government with a minor in Business Studies from Georgetown University. I attended Georgetown Preparatory School for high school, where I earned 5's on AP US Government, AP Comparative Government, AP World History, and AP Biology. I have taken the LSAT, and through extensive studies, I progressed from the 61st to 94th percentile of scorers, specializing in test-day performance and advanced score-maximizing techniques.

I spent three summers in high school as a volunteer tutor for students ranging from first grade to seniors in high school. I taught both one-on-one and in small groups on subjects ranging from reading comprehension to mathematics. As part of my AP Biology course as a senior in high school, I tutored freshman Biology classes, helping students to think critically about the material they had learned previously. I also served as a tutor for a variety of subjects to underclassmen in high school as part of the National Honor Society tutoring program. Through these experiences, I developed a tutoring philosophy centered on patience, adaptability, and empowering students to take ownership of their learning. I place a strong emphasis on identifying each student’s individual learning style and tailoring my approach accordingly—whether that means breaking down complex concepts into simpler components, using real-world examples to make abstract ideas more concrete, or developing structured study plans that build confidence over time.

I believe that effective tutoring goes beyond content mastery; it involves fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a growth mindset. My sessions are interactive and goal-oriented, with a focus on measurable progress and skill-building rather than rote memorization. I strive to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
