I have written successful college, graduate school, and fellowship applications, including earning a Posse Scholarship, completing my Ed.M. at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. There, I took a renowned Public Narrative course focused on voice, identity, and building movements through storytelling. I also served as an application reviewer for graduate-level social impact programs at MIT, which informs how I coach students to rise above generic writing and elevate what matters most in their stories.
Beyond essays, I have extensive experience in public speaking and have written remarks for myself and others across a wide range of audiences, including students, educators, policymakers, nonprofit leaders, and professionals in media and entertainment. I have delivered talks ranging from small group settings to audiences of over 1,000 people. I love uplifting stories that feel authentic and connect clearly with my intended audience, and feel particularly excited about the opportunity to support students in building their craft to achieve the same.
In addition to writing coaching, I currently teach Spanish to middle schoolers in Maryland. As a native Spanish speaker born and raised in Honduras, I bring cultural depth, conversational practice, and clear grammar instruction into every session to help students grow in confidence and skill.
