I am a Harvard Medical School graduate and former member of the Harvard Medical School admissions subcommittee. I interviewed applicants and participated in subcommittee discussions as we decided which applicants to recommend to the main admissions committee. That means I understand both what interviewers hear and what happens to their assessments after the interview.

I am a physician with residency training in internal medicine and preventive medicine and board certification in preventive medicine. I have spent decades advising and coaching medical school applicants.

You may know exactly what you meant to say, but that is not always what the interviewer heard. I listen for whether you answered the question, whether your examples support the conclusion you want the interviewer to reach, and whether you made clear why your experiences mattered. I will tell you what is working, what is not, and why.

We can conduct a realistic mock interview and discuss your performance afterward, pause after each answer for feedback and another attempt, or focus on questions you are struggling with. I prepare applicants for traditional and panel interviews, MMIs, recorded interviews, and school-specific interviews.

I do not give applicants scripts. The goal is not to sound rehearsed. It is to help you communicate your own experiences with greater clarity, specificity, and reflection, and to know what to practice next.
