I’m a college student majoring in Mathematics who enjoys helping other students understand math in a clear and simple way. I’ve always been drawn to problem-solving and love finding ways to make math feel less intimidating. In high school, I earned a 5 on the AP Calculus exam and have continued to earn A’s in my college-level math and physics classes, which strengthened both my knowledge and appreciation for the subject.
I was selected to tutor with Schoolhouse, a tutoring platform created by Sal Khan, the founder of Khan Academy. That opportunity allowed me to work with students in middle school and high school, helping them with algebra, precalculus, and calculus. Through that experience, I learned how important patience and encouragement are when explaining math concepts.
As a tutor, I aim to make each session comfortable and focused on understanding rather than memorizing. My goal is to help students build confidence, ask questions freely, and see that progress is always possible with a little practice and support.
