I have been tutoring since 2005 and prior to having my own business, I have been a freelance math writer and taught in Baltimore County, grades 9-12. I have tutored all ages including Community College students even though my background is middle and high school. I currently have over 30 hours beyond my Master's Degree. I graduated summa cum laude from Towson State University with a B.S. in Mathematics/Secondary Education and from Johns Hopkins University with a M.S. in Technology.

Amazing Instructor!
Kitty has been providing math tutoring to my 12-year-old daughter intermittently for two years. We've been working with Kitty so that my daughter could explore more advanced concepts in math, specifically algebra. Kitty is a fantastic instructor. Per my daughter, Kitty explains concepts well (and better than her teacher at school), and she is incredibly kind. She compliments my daughter's work and provides a helpful summary after every lesson. Kitty is always prepared for the day's lesson, sometimes sending materials in advance. Kitty is knowledgable, and although we share a textbook, she frequently supplements the lessons with outside materials she has found or challenge problems from math contests. It is a rare gift to find someone so skilled at teaching and so passionate about the subject matter and her work. My daughter greatly enjoys her lessons with Kitty, and we are very appreciative of Kitty's efforts.
