Bio

My name is Mr. Chris and I have taught every grade, K-12 in my 19 years of teaching. I attended Villanova University for my undergrad where I graduated with a BA in Communications, and completed my Masters Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education at SUNY Albany. I have taught high school Social Studies for 17 years in Baltimore County MD. In that time I also tutored students of varying ages, from Elementary students having trouble in Math, to High School Seniors studying for an A.P....

I have taught 7th-12th grade Social Studies since 2007. Taught a wide variety of learners with varying needs in the classroom. I have developed numerous methods of making connections with students on topics they often have trouble grasping.
Elementary Math

Elementary Math

I taught elementary math for 2 years in a traditional school. Worked 5 years as a tutor focusing on elementary math. Fluent in a variety of different methods to help students develop a comfort with math that makes learning it more accessible to all students.

I have taught Social Studies in Baltimore County since 2008. During my time teaching I have taught all aspects of Social Studies I.e. Government, World History, U.S. History, Economics, World Civilizations, A.P level courses, Homeland Security and Criminal Justice. History is a story, and love helping explain that story to students.

Taught World History for 8 years including 7 years of A.P. World History. Helped numerous students achieve 4's and 5's on their A.P. Love helping students understand how events in other parts of the world, even in the past, can have an impact on us today
