I am a total nerd about 3 things: Star-Trek, kindness, and helping people write amazing stories. I graduated with honors from the College of Wooster. Voted Most Likely to Change the World in high school, I gave a TEDx Talk in college which was featured in the Huffington Post and has over a quarter MILLION views on YouTube. I’ve given two graduation speeches and have spoken in front of 1,000+ people. At thirteen I began traveling internationally to writing workshops, performing poetry and coaching young writers at events like Poetry Out Loud in D.C. and Brave New Voices in California. Eventually, I ended up in Ghana studying playwriting under Prof. Samuel Benagr at the University of Ghana.

As a college graduate who enthusiastically applied to 10+ colleges by myself, I have first-hand experience of the application process. From writing personal mission statements to financial aid applications. I have counseled six teens through applying to their dream schools and five adults applying to master's programs. Most importantly, I help students deliberate the key pros and cons of each school (major availability, credit requirements, campus culture, location) to discover the best fit for them. I remember the anxiety of applying to college and I enjoy making it easier for everyone involved! Additionally, I have close colleagues in the admissions department of my alma mater who keep me up-to-date on what colleges and universities are looking for in applications.

As a TEDx Speaker, national award winning poet and author I am experienced in writing – motivational speeches, performance pieces and anecdotal stories that synthesize everyday experiences into palatable wisdom. I know everyone has a story to tell, even if they don't quite know which words to use yet. I coached 5 students at the College of Wooster in Public Speaking 2014-2016 and fun fact: I was chosen by my classmates to give my high school graduation speech

I graduated with honors for my Religious Studies thesis Under Mark Graham at the College of Wooster. Religion was an easy major to choose as I grew up between parents who practiced Judaism and extended family who practiced both Islam and Christianity. Later, I studied Buddhism and Hinduism in college. I adore the subject and respect all religions for their histories and utility.

I spend 15+ hours a week editing and producing cinematic content for several brands. In regards to cinematography, I am able to teach: storyboarding, composition, lighting and camera, movement and sound design. In regards to Story Building, I am able to teach Core Message Identification, Rising Action, Climax, CTA (Call to Action) and Resolution. In regards to Content Creation, I am able to teach: Editing Pillar Content into Micro Content Scheduling, Paid Ad Monitoring, A/B Testing, KPI and Goal Identification. My software and gear are: Davinci Resolve, Capcut / Descript, Iphone X / Shure MV7 Mic.
