Hello I am Karthik! I scored a 520 on the MCAT in June 2022 and have since honed effective study strategies specifically for this challenging exam. I am a current student at a top 5 medical school program, and I also passed USMLE Step 1 in July 2026. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with others, including the nuances of the medical school admissions process.
I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Richmond in May 2024 with a B.S. in chemistry and Spanish, and I have tutored general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry, helping students gain confidence and mastery in these subjects for the last 3 years. My tutoring experience spans various contexts, including one-on-one sessions and group settings. I believe in a personalized approach to tutoring, recognizing that each student has a unique learning style. I aim to build my students' confidence and help them achieve their academic potential.
