Hi I’m Georgia! I am a graduate Student at Morgan State University studying Physical Chemistry.
I first fell in love with Biology my last year of High School and with Chemistry my freshman year of College. I had amazing teachers that not only gave me lectures on the subjects but pushed me to do my best in and outside of the classroom. I learned a lot from them: they made every lesson relatable and I usually try my best to do so. Throughout my years of college, I learned that not everything can be learned in the classroom and that there are great rewards in helping others understand a subject that they initially did not. I thus started tutoring my freshman year, first my classmates and progressively I extended both my range of students and subjects. By the time I graduated college, I could tutor Math, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and French.

I firmly believe that everything can be learned if enough patience and practice are applied. I came to the United States a couple of years ago from a Francophone Country and I have taught myself English. I also believe that each learner is unique; they have their strengths and their weaknesses and I have come to find that there is no universal way to teach a given lesson. People have different learning styles and a successful lesson to me is one that addresses the student’s learning style. Hence, the way I engage a lesson usually depends on the person I have in front of me. I have, since college graduation, taught as an adjunct both biology and chemistry to college student and I must say, in all my walks of life, I have rarely learned as much as I was learning in the classroom with my students.
