Hi! I’m Moe, and I truly enjoy helping students feel more comfortable and confident with Anatomy & Physiology. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and completed four years of medical school training at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine. My background also includes EMT training and extensive hands-on experience in clinical anatomy and dissection. I was selected for William Carey’s Anatomy Prosection Team, where I completed more than 160 hours of dissection and helped create instructional videos, presentations, anatomical images, and digital models for other students.
Over the past several years, I have taught and tutored college and medical students in Clinical Anatomy, Anatomy & Physiology, Clinical Patient Skills, Behavioral Science, Public Health, biochemistry, and cell metabolism. As a Peer-Assisted Learning tutor at William Carey, I worked with students both one-on-one and in group settings, helping them prepare for written exams and practicals while strengthening their understanding of difficult material. I have also taught clinical anatomy and dissection at Johns Hopkins, giving me the opportunity to support students with different backgrounds, learning styles, and levels of experience.
I understand how overwhelming Anatomy & Physiology can feel, especially when it seems like there are hundreds of structures, functions, and terms to memorize. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at your own pace. I use diagrams, clinical examples, memory aids, and guided questions to turn complicated topics into clear, manageable ideas that actually make sense. Whether you are a nursing, pre-medical, or health-sciences student preparing for an exam or practical, I will meet you where you are, encourage you along the way, and help you build both the knowledge and confidence to succeed. I would be honored to be part of your learning journey!
