Hi! I’m Caleb, a 4th year PhD candidate in neuroscience at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
I am deeply passionate about helping students reach their educational goals, drawing from my extensive STEM training from my PhD and my undergraduate education at Harvard. I've been a tutor in biology, chemistry, math, and computer science for over 5 years, helping students to either improve their grades in these courses at school or to achieve 5s on their AP exams. While I am not at the bench doing lab work, I find myself doing a lot of teaching, for either high school summer courses in neuroscience or to first-year medical students at Johns Hopkins.
Additionally, I am an experienced tutor in all things college admissions and college test prep. Having achieved a perfect 36 on the ACT and a 1580 on the SAT myself, I am eager to share the strategies that helped me excel in these exams and set you up for a strong college application. Past the exam, I am an experienced interviewer for Harvard College and will use my inside knowledge on what adcoms and interviews look for to help you achieve your college admissions goals. I am available for mock interviews for both college and PhD admissions.
