My background is heavily based in biology. I received by Bachelors in the subject in 2018, then my Masters in Cell & Molecular Biology. During that time I worked as a TA for introductory biology courses. When I pursued my doctorate degree, I also was heavily involved in education, working as a TA all 4 years of my training across disciplines like Nutrition, Immunology, and Physiology. Once I graduated with my PhD in Animal Science in 2022, I began a postdoctoral program, during which I worked as an adjunct professor at a local university teaching biology courses and labs. I was hired full-time tenure-track by this university in 2025 and work there currently, teaching courses in Introductory Biology, Microbiology, and Endocrinology. I am also well-versed in immunology and nutrition as well. I employ high-impact pedagogical practices in my teaching, catering my approaches to my students’ learning styles and backgrounds. I love to interact with inquisitive minds and hope I can aid in supporting anyone’s academic pursuits.
