Hi, I'm Anne! I'm a Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering student at Johns Hopkins University, minoring in Entrepreneurship and Management. Science has always been a passion of mine — and so has helping others discover that same excitement. Over the past three years, I've tutored students across a wide range of levels: from introductory chemistry and biology all the way through AP courses and college-level General Chemistry.
My teaching philosophy centers on genuine understanding — not just drilling formulas or memorizing facts. I dedicate real time to identifying what a student got wrong and why, then working through it together until that "aha moment" clicks. Nothing is more rewarding than watching a concept finally land. I believe every student can get there with the right guidance and patience.
My long-term goal is to become a professor — I plan to pursue graduate school and possibly a PhD — so I love to help others learn. Whether you're struggling with calculus, need help with cell biology, or want to get ahead for an AP exam, I'd love to help. Feel free to reach out and schedule a session!
