My academic foundation was shaped through rigorous training, where quantitative excellence and analytical depth were central to my education. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, majoring in Economics with a strong mathematical and statistical emphasis. I later pursued postgraduate studies at Columbia University, where I specialized in advanced statistics, applied mathematics, and quantitative economics. Across both institutions, my coursework was grounded in algebra, calculus, linear algebra, probability theory, mathematical statistics, econometrics, and mathematical modeling—disciplines that demand precision, logical structure, and disciplined problem solving.

My expertise spans both mathematics and economics, and I am particularly skilled at helping students bridge theory with application. I regularly support learners in algebra (introductory through advanced), single and multivariable calculus, probability distributions, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, time series, and econometric methods. In economics, I assist with microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and quantitative finance, helping students understand not just how formulas work, but why they work and when to apply them.

Beyond theory, I bring extensive experience in data analysis and statistical computing. I am highly proficient in SPSS, Stata, and Excel, and I work comfortably with tasks such as data cleaning, descriptive analysis, regression modeling, diagnostics, interpretation of outputs, and presenting results for coursework, research papers, and dissertations. I frequently help students understand p-values, confidence intervals, model assumptions, and how to translate statistical results into clear, academically sound conclusions.

My teaching philosophy centers on building independence and confidence. I take a “teach you how to think” approach, carefully reviewing materials before each session and developing a clear strategy aligned with your goals.
