Hello, I'm Alex! I am a fourth year Mechanical Engineering student at Johns Hopkins University concurrently enrolled in a Master's degree in Robotics. As I've progressed through college, I've realized that some traditional methods of learning don't work well for me, and if you're here, I'm guessing you're in the same boat. Classes that required me to "just read the textbook" and practice were always a struggle, and I ended up using YouTube more than anything (I can direct you towards some amazing resources on the platform).
Whether you're in elementary school or already in college, I'm sure I can help you understand the STEM content you're struggling with. I have experience tutoring grade schoolers, middle schoolers, high schoolers, and my peers, and I know by now that everyone has their own learning style. Most of the time, you're probably just struggling to find the motivation to understand a topic that seems so complicated, it's pointless to begin. I prefer to start with the fundamentals, then build off of those to explain the concept and how all the small parts fit together to explain the big one. However, if you know you learn better another way, we can setup our lesson in whatever format fits you best. I look forward to working with you!
Sincerely,
Alex
