Hey! I’m an undergrad at Johns Hopkins University studying Neuroscience and Computer Science. Growing up, I’ve always loved pretty much everything - math, science, history, English - you name it! I worked really hard in high school and ended up as valedictorian and a National Merit Scholar. Hey! I’m an undergrad at Johns Hopkins University studying Neuroscience and Computer Science. Growing up, I’ve always loved pretty much everything - math, science, history, English - you name it! I worked really hard in high school and ended up as valedictorian and a National Merit Scholar. I scored a 1560 on the SAT and a 521 on the MCAT, plus I got 5s on 13 AP exams, including Calculus, Chemistry, and English Lit. Now as a rising senior, I’m applying to medical schools while keeping a GPA over 3.9.
I’ve been tutoring on and off for years, starting in high school where I helped friends with math. In college, I took it further by volunteering to tutor incarcerated students through the Goucher College Prison Education Partnership, teaching everything from Algebra to Spanish to English. These experiences taught me how to connect with different kinds of learners and adjust my style to what works best for them, whether it’s one-on-one or in small groups.
I tutor SAT and MCAT prep in part because I get how stressful these tests can be. I am also able to tutor for AP exams. I focus on breaking down tricky concepts, sharing study tips that actually work, and building confidence - because I really believe anyone can do well with the right support. I’m here to help you reach your goals and make the journey a little less overwhelming!
