I am a 5th year PhD student in the department of Political Science at Johns Hopkins University. I have taught college age students in a variety of contexts including lecturing, discussion sections, and one on one assistance. I am particularly experienced with teaching subject matter typically involved in political science, philosophy, and general humanities degrees. Further, I have broad experience helping students improve both technical and general writing skills. I specifically tailor my teaching approach to the students being taught. My experience going through elementary school, high school, and undergraduate education with undiagnosed ADHD gives me unique feelings insight into the ways certain students are left out of traditional lesson plans, and I value being able to share what I’ve learned to students in similar positions.
