I earned PhD in Biological Science from the University of Kashmir, India, and a Masters in Botany from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi, India. I also qualified National Eligibility Test for a lectureship in Life Science from India. My research mainly focused on gene expression analysis under stress conditions in rice plants. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong foundation in molecular biology, genetics, plant biology, and general biology.
I have three years of experience teaching graduate students during my doctoral studies. Teaching involved interactive learning experiences and facilitating understanding of complex concepts of molecular biology, general biology, plant biology, and genetics. I developed a strong ability to design and deliver course content in a way that is accessible, engaging, and relevant to students with diverse learning needs.
During my doctoral study, I had the opportunity to work with different groups of researchers and students which helped me to develop excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for mentoring and supporting students in their academic journey.
I am excited about the opportunity to deliver my knowledge to students and make complex concepts clear to them.
