With a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Florida, I have a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience in several fields. My tutoring journey began in my sophomore year when I started providing tutoring services through Knack for various courses I had previously taken. This gave me the opportunity to help fellow students in a one-on-one setting, honing my teaching methods to simplify complex concepts. During this time, I also studied abroad in Denmark, where I gained valuable cultural awareness, which enhances my ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
My professional experience includes internships at two major companies, Amazon and Tesla, where I developed essential problem-solving and communication skills. At Amazon, I worked as an area manager intern, responsible for overseeing teams and improving workflows, which taught me effective people management strategies. My role at Tesla, as a quality assurance engineer, allowed me to apply process improvement tools in real-world scenarios, bridging the gap between theory and practice. Currently, I am working as a logistics engineer, which further strengthens my analytical skills and my ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly. This combination of academic knowledge, real-world experience, and cultural sensitivity uniquely positions me to provide effective tutoring to students of all backgrounds.
