I love tutoring because it allows me to connect closer with students and together, share a goal to get them into medical school and be future doctors with the foundations of the MCAT. I have been a both a private tutor and classroom teacher for a large tutoring company for the past three/four years. My favorite part is relating the contents from the MCAT to the clinic and to what I have learned in medical school. I focus a lot on strategy and have tips/tricks to improve scores in a quick and efficient manner.
Outside of the MCAT, I have been a peer tutor for my entire undergraduate career so I can teach various subjects and I have had experience teaching the math sections of the SAT for another large tutoring corporation as well. I have also had experience editing and assisting students with their medical school applications with a large nonprofit, which I am happy to incorporate into sessions as well.
