I am an experienced professional and 28 year Navy veteran who graduated from the US Naval Academy with a degree in Mathematics. I furthered my education through earning two additional master's degrees in my career. In addition to teaching experience, I have worked for some of the world's most famous companies including Johnson & Johnson, American Express and now SAIC where I serve as a principal software engineer. Though I'm an engineer by trade but have also done a great deal of teaching as an adjunct.
From 2009-2012 I was a member of the faculty at the US Naval Academy where I taught mathematics to include pre-calc, Calculus 1 and 2. I also taught similar math courses at Anne Arundel Community College. In addition to Mathematics, I also taught introduction to Computer Science at AACC. I am well versed in many mathematical concepts and ideas, and am extensively practiced in solving the common problems that students may find challenging.
In terms of tutoring, I recently tutored students online both publicly and privately. I enjoy the challenge of a good math problem and conceiving elegant solutions. My hope is to make your journey in Math both fun and interesting.
