My mother has been a strong influence in my life and in my desire to be accurate in the spoken and written word. As a former business owner, it was my job to make sure all proposals from our sales team went out to our customers without error as it reflected our credibility. I believe, when taught well, it is very easy to remember the simple rules of grammar. I am a stickler for details and have been told that I have a nice way of correcting someone by just offering another way of doing something that ends in a better result. As an aside, I used to win the Spelling Bee's in elementary school on a regular basis! I believe it would be my job to cause you to have better results on tests, homework assignments and other projects as assigned. It would be an honor.
English was one of my best subjects in school. I always did well in spelling and I was a good writer. My Dad is a published author and I'm glad he has passed some of that skill down to me. In college I would wake up early in the morning to write a paper due that day. I usually got an "A" on my writing assignments. When I owned my business, it was my job to complete all RFP's which are highly detailed and tedious. I loved that. I sing in church every Sunday and have been for 30+ years. Performance is comfortable for me whether speaking or singing. Posture and confidence are key to a great performance.
