I am currently a 7th grade science teacher for the 2025–2026 school year, where I teach middle school science and support students in developing foundational knowledge in scientific concepts, inquiry skills, and data analysis. My classroom experience has strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas in clear, accessible ways while adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
I hold a Master’s degree in Biology, which provided advanced training in the life sciences, including cellular biology, physiology, microbiology, and ecology. This graduate-level education has given me strong subject matter expertise across multiple areas of biology.
In addition to K–12 teaching, I have taught undergraduate introductory biology laboratory courses, where I guided students through experiments, scientific methods, data interpretation, and lab reporting. This experience helped me develop strategies for teaching college-level scientific reasoning and hands-on skills.
I also have extensive tutoring experience in the life sciences, including cell biology, anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, and ecology. I have worked with students in one-on-one and small group settings to reinforce course material, prepare for exams, and build confidence in challenging topics.
My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, using visuals, real-world examples, and active learning strategies. I tailor my instruction to individual learning styles to ensure students build both understanding and long-term retention.
