I believe everyone can be a painter, the practice and guidance can sustain the confidence to continue. As an undergraduate at Pratt Institute studying Art Education, it is key to understand that everyones craft intersect with many art skills. There is a math in art, and a science in painting all that fall under how art responds to the artist. I began my teaching at Harvard's Philips Brooks House Association teaching in Boston with culturally responsive art in order for the community to see themselves and other artist from their community. I have created a curriculum that includes painting with oil, acrylic, gouache and water color, as well as lessons on beginners animation through digital art. I have worked at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in the continuing studies department where we crafted working in spaces for instillation art as well.
