My primary area of expertise lies in admissions and interview counseling. Having successfully been through multiple admissions processes, most recently for medical school, I am deeply familiar with the intricacies of writing and presenting an application, and in the ways in which students can either stand out or fall short of putting their best foot forward. I have helped many applicants with medical school (personal statements, AMCAS activities, secondary essays, interview prep) and college (Common App essay, supplemental essays, interview prep) admissions, and am proud to say my students have succeeded in achieving admission to desired graduate and undergraduate institutions.
I am passionate about paying forward all of the help and guidance I received in the application process, so am committed to assisting students in every step of the way, from application strategy to brainstorming, grammar checks, editing/refining, word choice and structure, etc. to speaking confidently about their story and making a great impression on their interviewers and the school. I help students present their narrative throughout the application process in a way that is engaging, profound, and representative of their core strengths.
I strongly believe in personalized learning, and tailor my approach to each student as we work together. Communication and collaboration are cornerstones of this, and I make it a point to respond to queries and concerns in a timely manner with all of my students to forge a productive relationship.
