Hi! I’m Trudy — a science and psychology tutor who loves helping students feel confident and supported in their learning. I recently completed my MBA in Healthcare Management and have been accepted to medical school for the 2027 academic year. I’m excited to use my academic, research, and professional experience to help students reach their goals, whether that’s mastering biology, improving writing, or preparing for medical school.

I hold a BA in Psychology with a Concentration in Neuroscience and a Minor in Chemistry, along with an MBA. I also studied Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford, which strengthened my foundation in cognitive science and research design.

I am a CRLA-certified biology tutor and have supported more than 30 undergraduate students. My style is warm, patient, and clear — I enjoy breaking down complex topics and building students’ confidence. I’ve also worked with learners of different ages through roles like House Parent at Casa de Esperanza and Resident Assistant, which taught me to lead with empathy and encouragement.

I also bring strong research experience from my work as a Senior Research Specialist at the Boston University School of Medicine with the Long Life Family Study and New England Centenarian Study. I administered cognitive tests, collected biological data, developed protocols, and trained staff, giving me deep knowledge of psychology, biology, neuroscience, and scientific writing.

In addition to academic tutoring, I offer medical school application and interview prep. I can help with personal statements, secondary essays, timelines, AMCAS/AACOMAS strategy, and mock interviews (traditional + MMI). I aim to make the process clear, organized, and confidence-building.
