I hold an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Science from Ventura College and an Associate of Engineering from Georgia State University. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Worcester State University, where I’ve consistently been recognized for academic excellence, including Dean’s List and President’s List honors.
I have over three years of tutoring experience in mathematics, computer science, and related STEM fields. During this time, I’ve worked as a tutor at both Ventura College and Georgia State University, where I assisted students in courses such as algebra, calculus, discrete mathematics, programming in Python and Java, and data structures.
My tutoring approach is student-centered and adaptive. I assess each student’s individual learning style and tailor explanations to meet their needs, using real-world examples and interactive problem-solving techniques. I aim not only to help students succeed in specific subjects but also to build their long-term confidence and critical thinking skills.
I’ve worked with students ranging from middle school to college-level in one-on-one and small group settings, both in person and online. I’ve also volunteered as a peer mentor and have helped younger students in my community prepare for standardized tests and strengthen their foundational math and logic skills.
