Hey there! My name is Ganeev (phonetic pronunciation gun-eve). I’m currently an Internal Medicine resident physician. I grew up in Los Angeles, CA and went to University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) for undergrad.
After graduating with a B.S. in Psychobiology and minor in Entrepreneurship, I worked in healthcare consulting in San Francisco for a few years. Most recently, I completed dual MD/MBA degrees from the Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM) and Brandeis University Heller School of Social Policy and Management in Boston, MA.
I pursued an interdisciplinary approach in my career since I developed an insight into the troubling role that health insurers play in clinical decision making during my gap years. I have active research projects right now in public health, healthcare leadership, nephrology, and space medicine. Besides medicine, I have active interests in leadership, research, policy advocacy, cooking, traveling, fitness, and of course, mentorship.
During medical school, I spent a year working as a Graduate Counselor at InGenius to formally help students navigate through the application process, and then spent a year on the TUSM Admissions Committee to assist in the selection of the medical school class of 2027.
