Hi! I’m Dr. C, an Assistant Professor of engineering with 10+ years of teaching experience helping students build the skills, confidence, and strategies needed to succeed in challenging STEM fields.
I currently teach engineering at Endicott College, and have mentored learners ranging from elementary students to graduate engineers. My students have improved multiple grade levels in math, earned top SAT scores, raised chemistry and statistics grades to A’s, passed certification exams, and succeeded in graduate engineering programs. I especially enjoy working with middle school, high school, college, and adult learners who are capable but struggling with confidence, organization, or difficult concepts.
Families often come to me for tutoring, but stay for mentorship. Beyond content knowledge, I help students develop problem-solving skills, study systems, academic strategy, and independence; skills that continue into college and careers!
My background includes:
• Assistant Professor of Engineering at a teaching focused college
• STEM summer coaching and mentorship at Tufts
• Teaching awards, grants, and fellowships supporting STEM education
• Experience judging state science competitions
• Academic advising, strategic planning, and long-term student mentoring
My goal for my students is not just higher grades or test scores. It’s helping students become confident learners who trust themselves and know they can do hard things.
