I am a Stanford graduate with a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Management Science & Engineering. For the past year, I’ve worked in tech consulting while continuing my passion for education through tutoring.

I began tutoring in high school, teaching a summer Python coding class on video game development. At Stanford, I joined Cardinal Tutors and worked with middle and high school students in physics, biology, English, and test prep. These experiences taught me how to adapt to different learning styles and build student confidence.

I now work with middle school, high school, and college students in math, computer science, and standardized test prep (SAT, ACT, and AP exams). I earned 5s on AP Statistics, AP Calculus BC, and AP English, and I enjoy helping students reach their own exam goals. My approach is to make challenging material approachable, encourage curiosity, and help students feel proud of their progress.

Algebra 2

Algebra 2

I completed Honors Algebra 2 as a freshman in high school and earned an A in the course. Later in college, I tutored my high school neighbor in Algebra 2, and he improved significantly and did well in the class. This experience strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt my teaching to a student’s needs. I enjoy helping students build both confidence and mastery in Algebra 2 through patient, step-by-step guidance.
Computer Science

Computer Science

I hold a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University and I specialize in Python, data science, and biocomputation. I have taught a beginner to intermediate Python to middle schoolers through a summer coding class on video game development and tutored students in programming and computer science fundamentals. In addition, I have research experience in computational biology, including an internship at an MIT biotech startup and lab work at Stanford on CRISPR technology. My tutoring style emphasizes clear explanations, hands-on problem solving, and adapting lessons to each student’s pace. I enjoy helping students gain confidence in coding and develop skills that prepare them for success in both schoolwork and future careers.
Precalculus

Precalculus

I completed Honors Precalculus as a sophomore in high school, earning an A while taking the class a year early. I then advanced to AP Calculus BC and scored a 5, further solidifying my foundation before pursuing computer science and MS&E at Stanford. At Stanford, I built on these skills with multivariable calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations, all earning top marks. I enjoy helping students master precalculus concepts and showing how they connect to both higher-level math and real-world problem solving.
SAT Math

SAT Math

I scored a 790 on the SAT Math section multiple times and regularly achieved 800s on practice tests. I also scored a 5 on AP Calculus BC, demonstrating mastery of advanced math concepts beyond the SAT level. At Stanford, I strengthened my quantitative skills through coursework in calculus, linear algebra, algorithms, and decision analysis. I specialize in teaching strategies for accuracy, efficiency, and confidence so students can maximize their SAT Math scores.
Statistics

Statistics

Statistics was my favorite math elective in both high school and college, and it inspired me to pursue a career as a Data Scientist. I earned a 5 on the AP Statistics exam in my junior year of high school and went on to take courses in probability, stochastic modeling, data science, and decision analysis at Stanford. My background in computer science and MS&E gave me extensive experience applying statistics to programming, modeling, and real-world problem solving. I enjoy sharing this passion with students and helping them build both intuition and technical mastery in statistics.
