I am an undergraduate Mathematics student at the University of Chicago with extensive experience in mathematics competitions, tutoring, and teaching. I have competed in math contests since elementary school, qualifying for the MathCounts State Competition, the AIME three times, and placing 3rd overall at the MathCON National Finals.
I enjoy helping students build both mathematical understanding and confidence. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant at the MathCON Summer Camp, where I helped prepare students for AMC competitions. I also served as president of my high school's math team, leading weekly problem-solving sessions, and have experience tutoring students in school mathematics, homework, test preparation, and competition math.
My coursework includes geometry, algebra, calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, and abstract algebra. I work with students of all experience levels, from elementary school through college, and tailor each lesson to the student's goals, whether that's improving grades, preparing for an exam, or developing stronger problem-solving skills.
My goal is to make mathematics approachable and enjoyable by helping students understand concepts rather than memorize procedures. I strive to give every student the confidence to tackle new and challenging problems. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to schedule a lesson!
