Hi! My name is Adhvay, and I am an incoming biomedical engineering student at Cornell University with a strong background in STEM education, scientific research, and student mentorship. I have conducted biomedical research at Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women's Hospital, published scientific work on autoimmune disease pathogenesis, and qualified for state-level science fairs through my independent research projects.
I specialize in mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, and general science courses from middle school through high school. As a STEM instructor and mentor, I have worked with students of varying ages and learning styles, helping them build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and achieve their academic goals.
My teaching approach focuses on understanding concepts rather than memorizing facts. I break down challenging topics into manageable steps, encourage active learning, and tailor each lesson to the student's individual needs. Whether you're preparing for exams, completing homework, or looking to get ahead in class, I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing independent learning skills.
Outside of academics, I have served as President of the National Honor Society, co-founded my school's science fair program, and captained my varsity tennis team. These experiences have strengthened my leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities, which I bring into every tutoring session.
Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a lesson. I look forward to helping you succeed!
