Hello, my name is Teddy. Nice to meet you! Quick background on my end - I have experience as a tutor for over 10 years, specifically in the Math and Chemistry subjects. I started out tutoring my junior year of high school as an assistant in the Winchester Math Lab and was helped onto private tutoring sessions(mostly middle/elementary school, some high school) by guidance counselors who recommended me. I went on to achieve a 800 SAT Math score in both the standard and the specific Math Subject Tests. Since getting into and graduating college, have tutored numerous students looking to improve their SAT Math scores as well as their Math grades in general. (K-6, Prealgebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry) Additionally, I tutor General Chemistry as I majored in the subject at Boston College.
I really enjoy getting to know kids/young adults and helping them achieve some of their goals in these fields that I specialize in(even if they might not be the ones seeking the help). And, I believe building a real relationship with the students is just as important - learning should be fun! My learning plans are all individualized based on some baseline assessments and can always be altered and tailored to specific needs throughout our time together.
