Bio

I have over three years of tutoring experience. At Arizona State University, I was a writing tutor for my campus' writing lab. I gained valuable experience working with a diverse set of students and received high positive feedback. On Wyzant, I have honed my skills to specifically help college students and adult learners. I have over three years of tutoring experience. At Arizona State University, I was a writing tutor for my campus' writing lab. I gained valuable experience working with a diverse set of students and received high positive feedback. On Wyzant, I have honed my skills to specifically help college students and adult learners. However, I do not tutor special education methods (Orton Gillingham, etc.) or standardized tests (SAT, GRE, GED, etc.). Currently, I am pursuing a Master's Degree in English at Bowling Green State University in Ohio.

I can help you with discussion boards, essays, reports, and research papers on a wide range of subjects. In addition, I can teach you the basics of writing: brainstorming, creating an outline, understanding the parts of an essay, conducting research, and proofreading and editing. Lastly, I can provide proofreading and editing services in combination or separately from lessons. I can point out errors on word choice, sentence structure, organization, and citations and provide recommendations. I charge $6 for every 250 words to review and takes me about 24 hours. For assignments longer than 2,000 words, I charge $5/250 words.

The following are my policies and reach out to me with any questions:
1) I have a 12-hour cancellation/reschedule policy. A lesson cancelled or rescheduled less than 12 hours before the start time is subject to the full hourly rate.
2) Please notify me if running a few minutes late to the lesson. I typically wait 15 minutes before leaving. A no-show is subject to the full hourly rate.
3) I use Wyzant for both communication and lessons. If needed, I can offer lessons via Zoom and my business email for communication.

Excellent tutor

I highly recommend Eryn. She was excellent and extremely knowledgable in assisting writing research papers and essays, and very helpful with difficult MLA citations format. Things that I like about her tutoring style include that she is incredibly patient, very clear when explaining assignments and showing how to improve essays that are MLA format; also she is excellent in tutoring for writing research papers effectively, and she provides constructive feedback.

Great tutor

Eryn helped me edit an essay. She was very patient with me and really made my essay flow much better. She not only edited the essay but also gave me ideas on word structure.

Patient and a great teacher

Had a good lesson, was able to fix all my mistakes and learn a few tips and tricks. We had a two hour session and we were able to review several topics within the apa format.
